TERMS OF SERVICE

Please read these terms carefully before using the QuinteFetch website, application, or requesting a delivery.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

These Terms of Service govern your use of the QuinteFetch website, application, and delivery services.

By creating an account, requesting a delivery, making a payment, or otherwise using QuinteFetch, you agree to these Terms of Service and the QuinteFetch Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, you should not use QuinteFetch.

2. ABOUT QUINTEFETCH

QuinteFetch is a local pickup and delivery service operating from Belleville, Ontario, Canada.

The service allows customers to request the pickup and delivery of eligible items using available QuinteFetch drivers and supported vehicles.

3. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS

You must be legally capable of entering into the transactions required to use QuinteFetch.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must not allow another person to use your account in a way that violates these terms or applicable law.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly notify QuinteFetch of suspected unauthorized access.

4. DELIVERY REQUESTS

When requesting a delivery, you are responsible for providing complete and accurate information, including the pickup location, delivery address, item or pickup details, delivery instructions, and appropriate vehicle requirement.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that a driver will be available or that a particular delivery can be completed.

5. SERVICE AREA AND DISTANCE

QuinteFetch currently serves Belleville and the supported Quinte Region service area shown or accepted by the website or application.

Standard QuinteFetch deliveries are currently available for supported trips up to 30 km one way. Eligible non-food requests over 30 km may be submitted as a Special Delivery Request for review and a custom quote.

Service boundaries, maximum distances, and availability may change as QuinteFetch expands or adjusts its operations.

6. VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS

QuinteFetch currently supports deliveries using cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks.

Customers must select an appropriate vehicle type for the items being transported. Items must be of a size, weight, quantity, and type that can be transported safely and legally using the selected vehicle.

A driver may refuse a pickup if the items cannot be transported safely or reasonably using the selected vehicle.

7. PRICING

The delivery price presented by QuinteFetch is calculated using the pricing rules in effect when the order is created. Delivery pricing is based on the one-way driving distance from the pickup location to the delivery location and the vehicle type required for the delivery.

QuinteFetch uses distance-based pricing brackets for Car, SUV, and Pickup Truck deliveries. The customer will be shown the applicable delivery price before completing payment.

QuinteFetch may change its pricing structure for future orders. A pricing change will not retroactively change a completed transaction unless a correction is required because of an error, refund, dispute, or other legitimate adjustment.

8. PAYMENT

Payment must be successfully completed before a delivery is made available for fulfillment when required by QuinteFetch.

QuinteFetch uses third-party payment services, including Stripe, to support payment processing.

You authorize the applicable payment processor to process the charges presented and approved by you for your QuinteFetch transaction.

9. ITEM PURCHASES AND PICKUP COSTS

QuinteFetch provides pickup and delivery services only. QuinteFetch does not purchase the merchandise being collected on behalf of the customer.

Customers are responsible for purchasing and paying for all merchandise directly with the store or pickup location before the QuinteFetch driver arrives. Merchandise costs are separate from the QuinteFetch delivery charge and are not included in the delivery payment made through QuinteFetch.

Customers are responsible for making sure the store or pickup location knows that a QuinteFetch driver will be collecting the order and can release the items to that driver. Customers must provide any order number, receipt, pickup code, authorization, identification, or other information required for the pickup.

10. DRIVER TIPS

Customers may add an optional tip for their driver through QuinteFetch.

100% of the driver tip collected through QuinteFetch is allocated to the driver who completes the delivery. The driver tip is separate from the QuinteFetch delivery charge.

11. PROHIBITED AND UNSAFE ITEMS

You must not use QuinteFetch to request the pickup or delivery of illegal, stolen, dangerous, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited items.

This includes any item that cannot lawfully be possessed, purchased, transported, or delivered in the circumstances of the requested delivery.

QuinteFetch or a driver may refuse or stop a delivery when there is a reasonable safety, legal, vehicle-capacity, or service-policy concern.

12. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

13. DRIVER ACCESS TO INFORMATION

To complete a delivery, an authorized QuinteFetch driver may receive information reasonably necessary for that delivery, including pickup information, delivery location, instructions, order details, and customer-related information needed to perform the service.

This information must only be used for legitimate QuinteFetch delivery purposes.

14. PICKUP PROBLEMS

A pickup may be delayed, refused, or unsuccessful when circumstances prevent the driver from reasonably completing it. Examples may include incorrect pickup information, unavailable items, store refusal, missing authorization, unsuitable item size or weight, unsafe conditions, or an incorrect vehicle selection.

Customers should contact QuinteFetch Support as soon as possible when a pickup problem occurs.

15. FOOD DELIVERY HANDOFF

Food Delivery customers may be asked to choose an available handoff method during checkout, including Hand Me the Food, Leave It at the Door, or Meet at Door.

If Hand Me the Food is selected, QuinteFetch may provide the customer with a delivery PIN. The customer or authorized recipient must provide the correct PIN to the driver before the delivery can be completed.

If Leave It at the Door is selected, the customer authorizes the driver to leave the order unattended at the delivery location specified by the customer. The driver is required to capture a proof-of-delivery photo as part of completing the delivery.

If Meet at Door is selected and the customer or recipient does not answer, the driver must wait for the required QuinteFetch no-answer period, currently two minutes. After that period, the driver may leave the order at the door or other reasonable delivery location and must capture the required proof-of-delivery photo.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery instructions and for being available when their selected handoff method requires interaction with the driver.

16. PROOF OF DELIVERY AND UNATTENDED DELIVERIES

QuinteFetch may require a driver to capture a proof-of-delivery photograph when an order is left unattended. The photograph may be used to document the delivery location, confirm completion of the delivery, provide customer support, investigate delivery concerns, resolve disputes, and help prevent fraud or misuse.

For an unattended delivery, the delivery may be considered completed once the driver has placed the order at the customer-designated delivery location, or another reasonable location permitted by the selected handoff procedure, and captured the required proof-of-delivery photograph.

Once an unattended delivery has been properly completed and documented, the customer assumes responsibility for retrieving and securing the delivered food or items. To the extent permitted by applicable law, QuinteFetch is not responsible for theft, loss, disappearance, spoilage, damage, weather exposure, animals, or other events occurring after the properly completed and documented delivery.

A proof-of-delivery photograph does not prevent QuinteFetch from reviewing a legitimate concern that an order was delivered incorrectly or that the delivery procedure was not properly followed.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability, consumer right, warranty, remedy, or obligation that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. DELIVERY PROBLEMS

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate, accessible, and reasonably safe delivery location.

A delivery may be delayed or unable to be completed if the address is incorrect, access is unavailable, the recipient cannot be reached when required, conditions are unsafe, or another circumstance outside the reasonable control of QuinteFetch or the driver prevents completion.

QuinteFetch Support should be contacted promptly when there is a problem with a delivery.

18. CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Before completing payment to QuinteFetch, you may stop or leave the checkout process without requesting a QuinteFetch cancellation or refund.

After payment has been completed, there is no automatic customer self-cancellation or automatic refund option. If you need to cancel, contact QuinteFetch Support as soon as possible. QuinteFetch will review the request based on the delivery status, work already performed, and the circumstances of the request.

This applies whether or not a driver has already accepted the delivery. A refund is not guaranteed solely because a cancellation request is made before driver acceptance.

If QuinteFetch cannot proceed because a reserved Food Delivery driver is lost during the protected payment flow, QuinteFetch may automatically refund the affected QuinteFetch payment.

Restaurant or store purchases are separate transactions paid directly to the restaurant or store. QuinteFetch cannot cancel or refund those third-party purchases.

QuinteFetch may review cancellation, refund, duplicate-charge, failed-delivery, or other payment requests individually based on the circumstances and applicable consumer-protection requirements.

Nothing in these terms removes any refund, remedy, or other right that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

19. DELIVERY TIMES

Any estimated pickup or delivery time is an estimate and is not guaranteed unless QuinteFetch expressly states otherwise.

Travel time can be affected by traffic, weather, road conditions, store delays, item availability, driver availability, emergencies, and other circumstances outside reasonable control.

20. SERVICE AVAILABILITY

QuinteFetch does not guarantee that the website, application, or delivery service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, internet or third-party service outages, driver availability, weather, emergencies, or other operational reasons.

21. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not misuse QuinteFetch or attempt to interfere with the website, application, accounts, payment systems, drivers, customers, or backend services.

Prohibited conduct includes fraud, false delivery requests, harassment, threats, attempts to gain unauthorized access, manipulation of pricing or payments, abuse of promotions, and use of QuinteFetch for unlawful purposes.

22. ACCOUNT RESTRICTION OR TERMINATION

QuinteFetch may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the service when reasonably necessary to protect customers, drivers, QuinteFetch, payment systems, or the public, or when an account is suspected of fraud, unlawful activity, serious misuse, or repeated violations of these terms.

Where appropriate and legally required, QuinteFetch may provide notice or an opportunity to contact Support regarding the restriction.

23. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

QuinteFetch relies on third-party technologies and services to operate parts of the website, application, and delivery service. These may include payment processing, authentication, database, mapping, location, hosting, and other technology providers.

The availability and operation of those services may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

24. LIMITATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

QuinteFetch will make reasonable efforts to provide the requested delivery service. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, QuinteFetch is not responsible for losses caused solely by events outside its reasonable control, inaccurate information supplied by a customer, prohibited or unsafe items, acts of unrelated third parties, or circumstances that could not reasonably have been prevented.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes or limits liability, consumer rights, warranties, remedies, or obligations that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

25. PRIVACY

Use of QuinteFetch involves the collection and use of personal information necessary to operate the service.

Please review the QuinteFetch Privacy Policy for information about how personal information is collected, used, disclosed, retained, and protected.

26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

QuinteFetch may update these Terms of Service as the service, pricing, operations, technology, or legal requirements change.

When appropriate, QuinteFetch may provide notice of material changes through the website, application, or another reasonable method.

The effective date shown below identifies the current version of these terms.

27. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws applicable in Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory rights or protections that apply to the customer under applicable law.
